FULL MOON MAGIC DECEMBER

The Full Moon in is on the 4 December and is known as "The cold moon" or "Long night moon"

It is the final Fullmoon in 2025 and also a supermoon, so it will appear very large to the eye.

This Fullmoon brings with it the clarity to you of what is to be dis-guarded or disposed and that which is to be preserved.

Historically this is the time to prepare for the harsh foreboding winter. Food that would perish would be made into preserves or eaten. Wood would be collected before the wet season and the schedule of the working day would adjust with the day light.

It is a perfect full moon to enjoy a hot cocoa and a firepit, but also to let go of that you feel holds you back from your potential.

Begin the ceremony by going to your front door and sprinkling a small amount of salt in front or on the door step.

Recite

"By the power of three

One, the past cannot stop me feeling free "

Spend a brief moment visualising the release of people, situations, feelings or objects that you feel make you feel you cannot progress in life.

Go to the back door and sprinkle some cinnamon.

"By the power of three

Two, Cold Moon magic, bring what I need to me"

Next go to the fire pit or lit candle. Using the piece of paper and pencil, list on the page all the people, situations, feelings or objects that you feel hold you back or do not enhance your life.

Three I release with love and light all that I write so mote it be."

Make a winter warming drink, sit somewhere comfortable and watch the flames under the light of the full-moon. If that is not suitable, make a hot drink and sit quietly, reflecting on the spell. Hold within your mind thanks for it fruiating, and knowing this is positive change.

As always end with a thank-you to your spirit guides and the deities you believe in. Belief is very personal so I will direct gratitude to the universe.
